Samir Wadhia sadly lost his battle with cancer on July 9th, 2021. In lieu of flowers the family are asking for donations to be made to Macmillan Cancer Support. Born on January 22nd, 1969, to Shashi and Ajit Wadhia in Mumbai, India. Grandson of Devshibhai and Ratanben Wadhia of Gujrat, India. When Samir was born, his father had already immigrated to London, UK. Samir travelled to London with his mother as a baby so they can start their new family life in London together. As a child and teenager Samir was a socialite who enjoyed conversation and activities with friends and family, his extended family span over three continents. Samir had many academic achievements and a tremendous intellect. He exceled in academics and thrived in a theoretical environment. His curiosity was second to none wanting to learn about everything through reading and intense studying. His hunger for knowledge continued to grow throughout his life involving hours of research about every aspect of life. He attended Courtland Primary School and Moat Mount Secondary School in Mill Hill, North London. After secondary School he attended University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. Samir enjoyed travelling, watching sports, and reading. He is survived by his parents & sister.
