Pipa Dobson
Pipa Dobson
Pipa Dobson (1955 – 2020) We remember Pipa Dobson as a person of so many qualities – strong, sincere, beautiful, loving and fun. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother whose magical smile and happy, happy laugh lit up every room and touched so many people. Pipa adored her family and was a constant support and inspiration to them. She was never more contented than creating a perfect family home in the country surrounded by her dogs, chickens and pretty garden, and she looked forward to nothing more than simply being at home with her family. She loved her many friends, too, and was always glamorous, bubbly and fun, the life and soul of every occasion. She enjoyed her holidays all over the world, whether as a host or guest. Somehow, in between, she found time to compete in the Powerboat World Championships, run two successful businesses and provide support to the Royal Ballet School. Pipa fought her final awful illness with enormous dignity and courage. She didn’t want to share the pain with friends but preferred to smile her way through and bear the full burden herself. She was an inspiration. We will always remember Pipa as happy, carefree and so full of joy, and we will celebrate her happy life with a party for her many friends and family next summer. She would have liked that. Think of her as living In the hearts of those she touched, For nothing loved is ever lost And she was loved so much.
