Peter was Reverend Sampson, a writer, School Chaplain, Football Manager, Mentor and held many other roles, along with Grandad/Grandpa & Dad.
Peter Sampson spent much of his time caring for the dying and their loved ones. Hospice support was something close to Dad's heart. The MacMillan Cancer Support enables many people to receive hospice at home, which was particularly important to Dad.

With around 3 million people currently living with cancer in the UK, MacMillan is needed now more than ever. From the moment of diagnosis, through treatment and beyond, MacMillan offer physical, emotional and financial support to thousands of people living with cancer and their loved ones each year.

MacMillan's wide range of services include direct support for cancer patients through the funding of clinical practitioners like MacMillan nurses and support workers, MacMillan's free Support Line, open 7 days a week to help with clinical, practical and financial information, a MacMillan Grants service to help with the extra costs of living with cancer, and much more.
