Peter Stockman

Peter was always up for a new challenge and would give anything a go. This included studying Italian, the guitar, bowls and most memorably learning to ski in his 60s. Sometimes his efforts didn’t always end well such as a fractured arm during a judo grading and an injury from a horse standing on his foot. But he would carry on regardless and this was very much his attitude following his cancer diagnosis. He would still give anything a go, including treatments, and the support he received from the Macmillan nurses at the hospital was very important to him. In amongst the difficult trips to hospital he still managed to uncover the stories of their lives in his usual charming fashion.
