Natalie Haigh

Natalie was such a fun loving and caring person, which meant when she went into caring, she was perfect. Beginning care in a residential care home, Natalie soon found herself working at Cramlington Emergency hospital as a HCA. She loved her job, her colleagues and patients. Outside of work Natalie lived for her family, doting on her nieces and nephews. Many family bbq’s and garden parties were had with Natalie at the forefront, especially at the cocktail “bar”. In Jan 2018, Natalie was diagnosed with breast cancer. Natalie took her diagnosis in her stride, getting together with her partner during treatment and continuing to drink plenty of those cocktails. Exciting news was to follow, when Natalie went into remission and in less than a year was expecting her little boy. Unfortunately, when Natalie’s little boy was only 4 months old, she received the devastating news the cancer had returned. This time it had metastasised into her lungs, liver, bones and brain. On the 5th of April 2021, 14 days before her 30th birthday, Natalie lost her battle with this cruel disease and died at home surrounded by her family. All of this was possible due to the unwavering support of her partner and parents as well as Macmillan. Macmillan supported both Natalie and her family throughout and we cannot begin to express how thankfully we are. Natalie leaves behind her 1-year-old son, partner, parents, two brothers, sister, 6 nephews, 2 nieces, grandmother, grandfather, cousins, aunties and uncles. All of whom, loved her unconditionally and will miss her endlessly. We have set up this tribute fund page in honour of Natalie, to keep her the centre of our attention, to party on her behalf and to raise funds for an amazing, invaluable charity in the process. Thank you for visiting her page and thank you for reading.
