Morag Murchison

Morag knew the true meaning of love and friendship. She achieved the rare and sought-after blessing of finding her soulmate, spending many happy times with the man she loved while surrounded by family and friends. Her love for her husband and family was unconditional and limitless. She had a unique ability to touch all those around her imparting knowledge, love, compassion or offering support wherever it was needed. You would come away with the belief that anything was possible and that you could take on anything life throws your way. Morag was as loving and caring as she was fiery; by her own admission she could make grown men tremble. She loved nothing more than to spend time in her garden tending to her beloved fuchsias. Playing with her grandchildren always ensuring that Nana’s treat box was well stocked. Holidays to the Greek islands where she would sip a glass of wine while dipping her feet in a cool pool on a warm summer's evening and in recent years she looked forward every friday at 4 o’clock to a hearty meal at The Star Inn. Macmillan Cancer Support has always been close to Morag’s heart especially following the untimely passing of her daughter Leigh to cancer and so would appreciate any donation you can give.
