Edward 'Ted' Brain

Edward, who preferred to be known as Ted, was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2017. Unfortunately, this had already progressed to stage four with secondary metastasis. He put up a good fight, receiving various treatments, which were successful in slowing progress but sadly, not beating it. Dad passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday 16th June, surrounded by family. We are totally devastated and now have a huge Ted shaped hole in our hearts. His service will take place shortly, with family flowers only and due to restrictions, a webcast for anyone who is unable to attend. Macmillan Cancer Support are a wonderful charity who have helped and supported all of us during this very difficult time. Dad would never ask for money, but if anyone would like to give donations in his memory, no matter how big or small, then the family and charity will be extremely grateful.
