David Robinson
David Robinson
David Francis Robinson (1936-2021) was born in London, educated at Eastbourne and read law at Worcester College, Oxford. He very much enjoyed playing tennis and squash and while on the committee of the Old Deer Park Squash Club he met Margaret; they fell in love as they worked together to convert the club into a much larger, thriving community. In 1973 they made the move to Duffield, Derby with Sarah and newly-born Tim in tow. Here again much of their social life revolved around the squash and tennis club. They had a great and loyal circle of friends and very much enjoyed their lives here. David was an intelligent, thoughtful man with a quick wit and a welcoming smile. He will be much missed by son Tim, step-daughter Sarah and granddaughters Jessica and Polly.
