After a very short battle with cancer our loving husband, dad and pop sadly passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, 14th November. In the short time that he was in hospital, the care he received from the Macmillan nurses was outstanding. They treated him with dignity and kindness; always putting his needs first. Furthermore, the Macmillan team were there to help support us as a family and demonstrated a huge amount of compassion to help us understand what we were going through. If you wish to honour Colin’s memory, we are asking for donations towards the Macmillan charity in his name instead of floral contributions. Knowing that the money raised will go to help support others suffering from cancer will help to bring us some comfort.
