Catherine Meekin

Our beloved Mum passed away after a short battle with Cancer; thankfully all her family were able to be with her during the time and mutually express their love and thanks. Although she wasn't up to seeing some family and friends, she loved you all very much and treasured the memories you shared with her. She felt very blessed to have had so much love and friendship in her life. Cathy was incredibly stoic throughout her illness but was thankful for her strong faith which helped her immensely. Cathy had two requests: That we be happy for her and not sad, as she was going to a good place. That any donations go to Macmillan. We were so thankful that we got to share in her enormous, joyous love, in our roles, as brothers, a husband, sons, daughter-in laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews, friends and strangers (she loved to help others). We all got embraced in her special love, warmth and kindness and her memories will live on with us all. She will be forever missed and treasured.
