“Once in a while something amazing comes along, and here I am” Tigger

20 years gone yet it still feels like yesterday. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you or feel your loss. Although losing you was the hardest thing I've ever had to do I feel so grateful that I got to have you as my mum for 14 years. How you were as a person, the love you showed me and the life lessons you gave me will stay with me for the rest of my life. You were the tigger of our family and had the most infectious laugh that everyone wanted to be around. I'm sorry that Tristan will never get to meet you as you would have been the worlds best grandma but I talk to him about you all the time and try to be the kind of mum to him that you were to me.

You lived for others never for yourself so I know you would approve of this. I want this to be a place you are remembered with a smile. I hope others will add stories of times with you and maybe even things I never got a chance to learn about you. I want to be able to show Tristan what an amazing Nanny he had even though he never got the chance to meet you.

Macmillan will always be close to my heart due to their unwavering support when you were ill. They didn’t help you medically but the support helped you to be strong and stay my mum until the very end. I want to use this page to help raise money for them in your honour. You touched the lives of everyone you met while you were here. The thought of you continuing to do that, long after you had to leave us fills me with the love and pride I used to feel when you were here.
