Brian Shaw

Brian passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Queen's Centre Castle Hill on 27th February 2024, aged 79 years.

A loving family man, he was beloved husband to Paula, Dad to Jayne, Brian and Christine, Stepdad to Matthew and Paul and Father-in-law to Mark, Nicky and Christie. Grandad to Aimie, Cory, Josh, Jake, Zack, Eva, Annabel and Xander, and Great-Grandad to Milo.

Brian lived life to the full, even in his final hours. He was kind, funny, generous and a respected member of the community, best known as Facilities Manager of Northern Foods Sports and Social Club from 1979 - 2004, when it went on to become the training ground for Hull City Football Club, which he continued to manage until he retired in 2017, aged 72.
