In loving memory of Andrew Caswell

A loving husband and Dad, who dedicated his life to helping the people around him. When you needed him there was never any drive too long or task too big, he would be there no matter what. Andy had a personality larger than life; he could fill a whole room with laughter with only a short joke, or sarcastic remark. A relentless teaser but you always knew it came from a good place, because he had the biggest heart. He would make four different versions of the same meal just to make sure everyone was catered for, drive 200 miles to pick up his daughter Emily when she was homesick at University, or someone needed help moving to a new house. He was the master of Dad jokes, the collector of ties and the best gravy maker in town. Andy celebrated every achievement his children made and was always there with a camcorder to capture the memories. He loved classic cars and would always point them out when they drove past. When you asked him what he wanted for his birthday or Christmas, he would always say ‘well a Rolls Royce silver back or a classic Bentley would be nice’. Dreaming of the day when he could take us hot air balloon chasing in a Bentley. For over 30 years, Andy lead cancer charity work for Macmillan, Cancer Voices and Northampton Cancer Partnership, using his own experience both as a previous cancer patient and watching his eldest son David battle Leukaemia, to help improve patient support across the country. Despite the hardship Andy faced, he was generous in every way even when he could not afford to be. Andy never stopped showing his family just how much he loved them and how much he wanted nothing more than to stay with them. The world was made a brighter and safer place with Andy in it and his legacy of kindness will be carried on through his adored wife Suzanne and four children, David, Laura, Emily, and Thomas.
