How it works

There are many ways you can use tribute funds to honour your loved one.

Creating a tribute fund in support of Macmillan is a wonderful way to remember your loved one and continue their story. Your page is an online space where you can share photos, memories and stories about the person you are remembering, celebrating their life and everything that made them unique.

Your tribute fund provides a personal way of collecting donations in memory of your loved one online. You can share the link with friends and family so they can donate and leave messages.

If you have fundraised for Macmillan via another online platform or have sent in donations directly, you can include these amounts as offline donations. This means you can see the total raised in memory of your loved one and the total impact of your support all in one place.

As well as collecting donations on your tribute fund page, there are lots of other ways to fundraise for Macmillan in memory of your loved one. If you or your friends or family members are organising or taking part in an event to remember your loved one, you can create an Event page directly linked to your tribute fund.  Anyone who visits your fund page can see the event is taking place and can find out more information about how to get involved.

Whether you’re taking on a challenge event, hosting a coffee morning, organising a ball or doing something completely unique in the name of the person you are remembering, we’re here to support you every step of the way. You can visit our fundraising events website for advice, information and inspiration to find the right event for you.

Your tribute fund page is a space to continue your loved one’s story for years to come. There are so many different ways to keep celebrating the life of the person you are remembering through your tribute fund and any events you hold in their memory. Significant dates, special occasions or trips down memory lane can be the perfect time to bring together friends and family members to continue sharing their memories of your loved one.
