About Macmillan

With around 3 million people currently living with cancer in the UK, Macmillan is needed now more than ever. From the moment of diagnosis, through treatment and beyond, we offer physical, emotional and financial support to thousands of people living with cancer and their loved ones each year.

Our wide range of services include direct support for cancer patients through the funding of clinical practitioners like Macmillan nurses and support workers, our free Support Line, open 7 days a week to help with clinical, practical and financial information, a Macmillan Grants service to help with the extra costs of living with cancer, and much more.

We are working tirelessly to ensure people with cancer get the vital support they need right now. We can’t do it alone, your generosity and fundraising will help us to create new services, improve our existing ones and campaign to ensure the voices of people living with cancer are heard.

Last year thanks to the help and generosity of our supporters, over 1.9 million people received personal, high impact support from one or more of our Macmillan professionals or services. This year with your help, we hope to reach even more.
