Glenys Lodge

I have created this tribute page for my mum, Glenys Anne Lodge, as a place for me, my Dad and her family and friends to share some memories, thoughts and photos whilst also raising money for MacMillan.<br /><br />Mum's MacMillan Nurse (Jenny) and her Oncologists (Lucy and Claire) from Weston Park (Sheffield) delivered outstanding treatment, care and support throughout the past six months. We know, that without MacMillan funded posts, hospitals can struggle to deliver to this standard without people like Jenny, and we have therefore decided to raise money for MacMillan in tribute and to make sure that others can benefit. <br /><br />Anything that you can give will be gratefully received by MacMillan and ultimately people like my mum and us who have benefited from their services. <br /><br />We will also be making other donations in addition to what we raise here, these will be given to: the Haematology Unit at Doncaster Royal Infirmary where she was cared for so well during the last few days of her life; the National Trust where she volunteered; and, a charity supporting local adults with learning difficulties in honour of the work that she did during her time at Chesterfield College.
