Martin Bull

The overwhelming response, from such a significant number of people, who knew Martin as a colleague, friend, football coach and a genuinely lovely guy, has been amazing and thoroughly deserved. He really was amongst the very best of people in our local community. Through his football coaching, Martin helped to develop a number of lads in to very fine young men. Martin had such a positive influence on so many people. A great friend, mentor, Son, Brother and most importantly a great Husband to Jo and Dad to Matty. The following message was written by someone who knew Martin from playing for him when he was first making his way in adult football & now, over a decade later, he plays alongside Martin’s son for the Ambleside senior men’s team (I think it sums things up perfectly): “A top bloke, loved by everyone he met and he had a great laugh along the way” We are all going to miss you so much, but we are all grateful to have known you and shared great times with you.
