Mark Scarr

Mark was a very special man, a man we will never forget, with a huge heart and character, that will not disappear, will not fade and will stay alive in our memories, for as long as we have memories. Mark lost his battle with liver cancer on February 20th 2020 at just 55 years of age. There have been so many beautiful tributes. He was they said “a true gent”, “ a wonderful funny hardworking man who adored his wife Christine, his children Luke and Rebecca too.He has been taken way too young.” “He was genuinely one of the nicest people I knew.” “ Funny, witty, helpful, generous and caring without question. We are all going to miss him so much.” “Mark always looked on the bright side of life.” As a family man Mark was the best, there for us all, for whatever was needed, he was the heart and soul of the Scarr family. He loved us all and was so proud of us. As our family learn to rebuild our lives, around our devastating loss, it helps us to raise funds for Macmillan in memory of Mark. It’s our way of saying thank you to Macmillan for all they have done for us, and to help other families in similar circumstances.
