Bungee Jump In Memory Of Paul

Hi,

I'm Paul and I was Paul Whitworth's team leader when he worked at BT - he was a well-loved member of my team and he really will be missed.

We always had a laugh and joke, and there were times when he told me to take a running jump... so I thought how better to remember him than doing a bungee off a bridge?!

I'll be making the leap from Larpool Viaduct in Whitby on 7th August - it's only 40 metres (131ft) - what could possibly go wrong?

I think he would have found it very entertaining and no doubt would have spent plenty of time winding me up about it in the days leading it up to the event - he had that sort of wicked sense of humour that we all loved!

MacMillan have given Caroline and the family such great support during such a tough time, so it would be amazing to try and give something back to them.

Any donations, no matter how big or small, really will be appreciated - it'll give me even more of an encouragement to jump (as I'll probably need it!)

Update:

I successfully completed the bungee jump on 7th August and am so grateful to everyone's kind words and donations. Hopefully I can continue to add to my total for this amazing cause.
